We would like to encourage you to participate in this year’s Wireless LAN Community Compensation Survey for 2020.
The data we collect will be collated and analyzed and the results will be made freely available to the entire community.
This project can help you individually, and as a community we can all gain by it collectively as follows:
- Looking for a new position - be able to negotiate with real-world data based on your skills, certifications, and region.
- Trying to hire some new help - the data can help you to know what the going market is in your area and for the skills you need.
- Want to study and get a new certification - the results can show what others who’ve gone before you have found.
- Just trying to get a raise - then have some industry-wide supporting evidence to back your claims.
The accuracy of any survey is based on many factors - especially tied to the number for data points collected for any given subset of the entire community population. We’d love to have big numbers from each and every region of the world. As well as survey results from various sub-factions within the community. The more data we collect, the more accurate this will be for the entire community to use.
To that end - in addition to taking this WLAN Community Compensation Survey yourself, could you also please forward this information to your friends and colleagues via social media, email blasts, or other communications methods?
Again, the more involvement we have with the entire community, the more accurate the results will be!
