Here is my list of what I'd recommend to someone who wants to get in the Wireless LAN industry for a starter toolkit for under $2,000.
A new MacBookAir with Wi-Fi 6E and associated software tools, a WLAN Pi R4, books and accessories. This setup would help someone learn, and even do many troubleshooting activities. Both local and with remote capabilities.
Of course, you would need to LEARN how to use all this gear... but if you did, this setup would serve you fine till you start earning more and can get more professional tools.
